BETWEEN THE BAGUETTES, NUMBER 3

SOIREE

We’ve had our first party!

RUSS – MASTERMIND!

Russ was the mastermind of the pre-party prep and the Hauler-in-Chief. He transported rosé bottles 10 -12 at a time from the store to our apartment. When you don’t have a car, are expecting 40+ people and need sufficient supplies to fill a refrigerator, that’s a lot of hauling:

SWEET TREATS

Other features of the evening were sweet treats:

Special thanks go to Anne for serving as party consultant – she and her husband John even hand delivered the above for the festivities.

COCO AND ZOEY

And of course, the dynamic duo were great hosts. Here’s Coco taking a moment in mom’s arms:

FRIENDS: THE MAIN ATTRACTION

The main attraction was the wonderful group of friends from Montpellier. As usual, I failed to take sufficient photos but a few exist to document the amazing group from the evening.

The terrace was a big hit, even if those pesky mosquitos didn’t totally leave us alone.

It was a lovely evening with charming people and my only true regret is that I wasn’t able to have long conversations with everyone!

Leaving you with a picture of the hibiscus, until the next post!

    ROOKIE ERROR(S) X 3

In UPDATE: MONTPELLIER, WE ARE HERE!, you saw our apartment fully furnished with the last owner’s stuff. Well, most of that didn’t come with the purchase price. GREEN SPACE Now that you’ve seen the inside of our apartment, it’s time for the terrace tour. In earlier blogs , I stated our requirements in detail. Green space and a terrace were both on the list, mainly for the dynamic duo of Zoey and Coco, but also for us humans. Little did I know…
